I've had a great experience with Waste Management and wanted to share why I rate them 5 stars. Punctuality & Consistency: They have never missed a pickup day for us. You can absolutely count on them to be there on your scheduled day, every time. Proactive Communication: I love that they send out advance notices for any schedule changes due to holidays. My service started out at $32 a month but got dropped to $28 to be competitive but each month would jump back up to $32 if I didn't say anything. My service was interrupted I June for non payment so I had to pay $97 to get service back. Not even a month later service is stopped again and supposedly my new rate per month is $115 . No explanation on why a huge increase. So I said I would discontinue using them and then they wanted $75 to pick up the can but only $20 when it was delivered. They're crooks so be aware.
I am looking for a different company for my trash removal. I am not paying a $70 restart service fee. With the exception of this ridiculous fee on my bill I have been pleased with the service. Since I got the last bill and spoke to a representative on chat who explained the $70 restarting fee I am not pleased. That is ridiculous and so I will be taking my business elsewhere before I pay that ridiculous fee.
