Had zero interest in switching companies. I’ve been with WM for over 3 years. Now I’m being charged $5 extra each time my trash cans lid doesn’t fully close. Switched to Rumpke today. They’re cheaper and they pick up recycling weekly instead of biweekly. Also want to let the public know that WM also charges a $75 fee to pick up your bin, as well as a $15.25 “energy surcharge” and an $8.50 administrative charge.
Terrible service, surprise fees and next to impossible to cancel. Transfered around departments for an hour, multiple times the line just disconnects while on hold... I could go on and on but you get the point!
They charged me an extra $5 because my lid was opened maybe 2 inches. This company is a scam. Will definitely be swapping to a different company.
No phone number to call and set up service, cancel service, transfer service to a new owner same address etc. website takes too long to navigate
Go with Rumpke. WM started charging $5 if your lid is slightly raise. SCAM
