Incredibly poor customer service. Hangs up before speaking with anyone, automated system is dysfunctional, waste of time and effort. Also poor scheduling for pickups resulting in multiple day delays and waste buildup. Waste Mis-management more like it.
We have called and been waiting on a new recycling container for almost a MONTH now and every time we call to see what's going on with our request all they offer is platitudes and false assurance that pick up of the broken bin and delivery of a new one was scheduled for the same day we called. So it's getting increasingly less surprising to realize they lie. Sitting on 2 LARGE bags of recyclables in our back yard and it's ridiculous.
It seems that we cannot get regular yard waste pickup in the Kevitt Boulevard area of Port Charlotte. What seems to be the problem? No pick up again this week.

My residence is on Ferndale Drive in the Mink Shoals area. (25302) My waste as well as every other residence on a side street in my area is still waiting to have their waste picked up. Keep in mind this was supposed to be the 1st pick up after a major holiday (July 4th) & you guys have dropped the ball tremendously. I even paid ahead of time for a special pick up scheduled for Friday 07/09/2021 & that never happened. So now I have more bags than cans. worst customer service ever at starting new account
Excerpt from my Diary.... :-) On day 6…or 8? of utter boredom in (home) quarantine some excitement finally came our way. If you are elderly and require careful, considerate client service, avoid these people at all cost! My aunt (91) and my mom (86) have 'service' from these people. As far as I know they, they have been very good about paying their bills. They last received a bill in September 2019, which they paid promptly -- I know because I help them make out their checks. Waste Management of Alameda County knows that you have to have waste disposal to maintain your residency, and they also know that they are the only game in town.... And thus their "F up, you can't do Jack shit about it so suck it up" attitude! They don't give a damn, and will tell you anything they need to to get you off the phone. They are worst than the filth and waste they claim to manage..... It's a really "F" situation to be forced to deal with, they lie like a rug!
