I will never use Waste Management again! I'd rather take my trash to the dump myself! They switched my can with my neighbor's can (I don't know which neighbor). We always put our trash in bags and keep our can in the garage. The can they gave us was full of maggots literally from the bottom of the can to the top. It was covered in garbage particles and smelled horrid. When I called and asked for a new can, they said they wouldn't replace it. They told me to switch it out with a neighbor's can. They used to be good, but they almost doubled their prices, and over the last year they began missing more pickups than they showed up for; they leave the bins open or on the wrong side of the street, and don't notify when they're picking up on an alternative day or if the pickup day changed permanently. Customer service basically shrugs when asked why they're not delivering what is being paid for. Save your money and drive your trash to the convenience center yourself. Be very weary of this company. After being a customer for 15+ years, with continual yearly increases we decided to cancel our service that was over priced (according to other dumpster companies) and they refused to work with us on a contract or lowering the price. Now after they cancelled their services, it took nearly a month for them to remove the dumpster and are trying to charge a p/u fee of over $200 when our original contract had free dumpster delivery.
