Got my surgery in 2023. I was so scared at first. But the doctors did thorough tests first to make sure I was right for the surgery. They mapped out everything and made me feel at ease. The surgery was a breeze with little to no discomfort. And recovery was speedy. I highly recommend this place for any eye surgery needs.

I got surgery in November 2025, and it was such a great decision. Dr. Wexler, Dr. Polk, and the entire team at WashU were amazing! Everything was so organized each time I had an appointment, including surgery day. I felt like I could understand the entire process and ask questions at any time. The recovery was not very difficult, and even during the times it was, it was so worth it. I have had no issues, and it has almost been a year since my surgery! Highly recommend WashU LASIK!

The WashU Medicine LASIK Surgery Center is by far the best LASIK surgery center in the St. Louis area if not the entire United States. Dr. Polk and Dr. Wexler were terrific and made sure I knew everything that was going on through my whole time dealing with them. The entire staff at the center are consummate professionals and made sure I was comfortable and understood the whole process. Dr. Wexler, Dr. Polk, Jared and all staff are WONDERFUL! I was informed from the very beginning what to expect from PRK and given exactly what I needed to make my recovery go smoothly. They made my experience enjoyable! I highly recommend them if you’re considering LASIK or PRK! It’s a whole new world not having to use contacts or glasses to see clearly! THANK YOU TRULY!
