The incident I’m about to described happened some months back and I wasn’t going to say anything for fear of retaliation due to the fact I was still under Wash U doctors care for other heath issues, now that I’m moving my care here you go. Went in for phlebotomy and was denied because my blood pressure was 200 plus over 100 plus. My cardiologist Dr Mitchell’s office was contacted and I was told by nurse Ann in the rudest tone and condescending manor ever, “to just keep track of your blood pressure and keep us posted”. Billing practices are shady to say the least. I participated in a clinical study and was not suppose to incur any cost, this hospital charge my insurance company and now I’m being threatened with collections over a co pay that is not mine. Barnes Jewish, Wash U Physicians,BJC Health Care, stay away from all these places they’re nothing but a scam!
