Stop giving money to State Legislators like Maureen Walsh for one. Really support nurses for another. Shame on you.
As a nurse almost 2 decades, we work hard and most of us don’t take our breaks, frequently miss our meals and often stay past the end of our shifts to our family’s detriment. I haven’t taken an afternoon break in over 2 years and rarely get a full lunch. I am lucky if I go to the bathroom more than once in my entire shift. Sadly this lady, who has had major medical care seems to feel we deserve less than what is fair. I can only hope she is not re-elected. 😡
