Month 3, I'll be here updating monthly until my license comes through. Hopefully I'll get it by this year. I had to get a minimum wage job because I can't work without a license. I've tried everything to get someone to expedite this process and no one helps. When will this madness end
I am very frustrated and disappointed in how long it’s taking my CMA license to be reviewed. I have called everyday and no response! This is my last week of family leave and how am I suppose to support my new born daughter and wife with rents being so high. I know they are short staffed but I have been waiting for 3 months now! I am very livid!!!!
The complete lack of transparency and efficiency for the licensing process is shocking. I applied for my PT license at the end of May and am still pending approval at the beginning of September — I can’t begin my job until my license is approved, which has put my employment at risk as they cannot continue to push my start date. I haven't been able to get a raise or even change fields due to the length of time it has taken WA DOH to process my credentials. I have patiently waited for FIVE MONTHS. I passed my exam and submitted my certification information needed in MARCH 2025. It's currently SEPTEMBER 2025. I'm beyond upset and disappointed. I worked so hard to get my schooling done to get this certification. And I've waited almost HALF A YEAR to get MY certification. I paid for it and by the time it's granted, I'll have to renew it. Incredibly disappointed and unimpressed with the entire affair. My CMA application was submitted in April: It's now nearly September, and my certification has been "pending" for roughly 5 months. Unable to work, let alone get ahold of someone at this office for a status update or eta. I get that the system is being updated, but waiting this long for something that your livelihood depends on is absurd and infuriating. Busted my butt at school and training, just to get hamstrung by a wretchedly inefficient bureaucratic mill.
