great late night Washington square diner is open 24 hours, and has the best fruit salad i've ever had at a diner (a lot of strawberries). The service is always very good, and i've never ordered anything that I didn't like. The greek salad is huge! The only bad thing is their coffee isn't very good--too watery, not dark enough. PROS: CONS: bad coffee
A Classic NYC Diner If you're shopping in the village and want to take a break, this is a great place to stop. The service is really fast and the menu is that classic extensive diner menu. I love this place for breakfast. The omlettes are full of ingredients and the pancakes are big and yummy. Great grilled sandwiches. The booths are close together and tight, so you can hear everyone's conversations - but that's part of the fun.
highly recommended I've been here plenty of times because I love the fact that it is opened 24 hrs! I also love the food and the service! The ceasar and greek salads are soooo good, and they have really good desserts!
