I was honestly disheartened when I first started researching doctors and birthing facilities in NWA. I was looking for that "middle ground"—the security of a hospital, but with a low-intervention approach. I’ll be the first to admit I have a healthy distrust of the medical system, and after Googling local options, I felt pretty discouraged. Would have gave them 1 star but they did get my baby girl here safely! Not happy with the nurses. They knew I wanted to breast feed , and I was having trouble getting her to latch so they told me they would someone in from lactation to help me . Well no one came , and they kept bring her bottles . And the next day they told me again that they would send someone in from lactation , again they never showed up . So I never figured out how to get her to latch so I ended up drying up and having to formula feed her !! And they ref... read more
I’ve delivered 2 babies here. My first was not a good experience but that was not the clinic’s fault. It was at the start of the pandemic. Everyone was on edge. My second childbirth 2 months ago was AMAZING. The nurses I had were spectacular. I went in wanting a natural, low intervention birth and they made me feel safe and secure. They helped me SO much with positions, pressure, and positive reinforcement. I would not have been able to deliver naturally if it were not for them.
