I’ve been using the CFE since 2017 regularly (actually started in early 00s but stopped for a bit) and there’s no better place, especially the pool. I have made great friends and rely on the Center to keep me moving. Class offerings are coming back after the COVID hiatus and the Pilates instructor is awesome! I am grateful for the support and encouragement I get from the staff to continue meeting my goals, and hope to keep going for years to come.

I love this gym! The staff is so friendly, and the trainers really know how to provide an experience tailored to each individual. They celebrate our successes and encourage us to keep progressing. I especially love the pool, where swimming and exercise occurs free of the judgement of others. I have made friendships there that will last a lifetime. Keep up the good work!

I have been going to this pool almost two years. I absolutely loveeeeeeee this pool, and the staff! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and the fact that I am 48 and not a “senior” has never been an issue. The other swimmers welcome me, we talk, swim and I have developed many great relationships. These new friends and I have even met outside the pool. I am so grateful to have this pool! I joined to help my back to avoid surgery, and not only am I getting help with my back with my swimming and advice from the trainers, but new fri... read more

Sadly, I must revise my review. Recently, within the last few weeks, the pools have been very dirty, with cloudy water, yucky particles floating in the water, and scum accumulating on the bottoms of both pools. The smell was odd and I asked if they used chlorine. The lifeguard said he didn't know. Last week, the entire pool area was closed, with no explanation. When it reopened 5 days later, it was sparkling clean and smelled fresh. I asked why it was closed, and the receptionist said the "PH was off". One of the trainers co... read more

Very well equipped with both free weights and weight machines. The cardio equipment is quite varied, but there are only a couple of units of each version. This gym caters to Washington Regional employees and "older" gym rats as well as serving as an exercise site for long term rehab for people with disabilities. It's a good choice for people looking for a non-competitive environment. The gym is rarely crowded, but Saturday mornings can be busy enough that I have to change the order of a workout or switch to an alternative ex... read more
