Effective May 17, 2021, the Center for Exercise will implement a phased reopening beginning with the relaunch of the Mobility Program and opening of the gym and pool. Personal training sessions and group classes will resume at a later date. For member and staff safety, all individuals who utilize the Center for Exercise must have received COVID-19 vaccination. Additionally, gym capacity will be limited and masks will be required at all times except when actively working out.

UPDATE: Two pulmonologists have confirmed lung damage from toxic fumes, consistent with chloramine poisoning. The Health Department is still investigating, now bringing in air quality specialists from Little Rock. Sadly, Washington Regional has ignored patrons safety. Great place for seniors and rehab patients. Great variety of machines, and free weights too. Variety of yoga classes. Great staff able and willing to help! If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you may get a break in the monthly fee. Be good to yourself. Come and see. 😊
I’ve been using the CFE since 2017 regularly (actually started in early 00s but stopped for a bit) and there’s no better place, especially the pool. I have made great friends and rely on the Center to keep me moving. Class offerings are coming back after the COVID hiatus and the Pilates instructor is awesome! I am grateful for the support and encouragement I get from the staff to continue meeting my goals, and hope to keep going for years to come.
I love this gym! The staff is so friendly, and the trainers really know how to provide an experience tailored to each individual. They celebrate our successes and encourage us to keep progressing. I especially love the pool, where swimming and exercise occurs free of the judgement of others. I have made friendships there that will last a lifetime. Keep up the good work!
