The first time I came for a routine cancer screening in 2024, the front desk representative (Anna) waited until I arrived to tell me they had no orders and needed them to do the test. Accordingly, l needed to chase down orders on the spot, resulting in a long wait time and missing my morning at work. Great experience coming here for a breast ultrasound. During the ultrasound the radiologist recommended a biopsy and they got me an appointment the very next day. Front desk staff was so nice and helpful, getting an order from my doctor very promptly. I was in and out of my biopsy appointment in 40 minutes, nurse Kim was the sweetest and explained everything very thoroughly. Dr. Ego-Osuala was very kind and professional and made the whole biopsy process seamless and near painless.
Absolutely horrible experience. They didn’t have an order so waited for me to get there to chase it up. So they called my OBGYN for an order whilst sat at the front desk, they don’t understand HIPAA at all and broadcast my name, DOB and what I was having done to everyone in the waiting room. I finally made it back to the waiting room for my 3pm appointment at about 3.30pm and sat and waited, at 3.40pm I inquired about the wait and was informed there were still 2 people ahead of me. I went for a mammogram. They billed me for an ultrasound that I did not have. I contacted them to correct the mistake. I have been waiting for more than two months; not only did they not correct their mistake, but they sent me a debt collector, who contacted me to ask me to pay for a procedure I did not have. When I contacted them again, they said my request was denied! I do not understand how a request to NOT be billed for a procedure I did NOT have can be denied. I have never been treated so poorly on the phone than when they call me to argue with me about diagnostic vs routine mammogram. I was very frustrated because I couldn’t understand why this is a big deal between one and the other. Also because my previous mammogram was done outside the US they said they couldn’t schedule me, which is not making any sense to me.
