I was so impressed with the facility and the staff on my first visit that I decided it would be a waste of time to look anywhere else. My wife is the most precious thing in my life, and I would never allow her to stay anywhere that could not provide her the care and attention she deserves. I am pleased with my experiences with the staff. I am particularly thankful for the Director for working with me to help my mom adjust. The interior decor of the common areas has been recently updated. There are many conveniences like the hair salon and nail salon, activities such as the exercise classes, bingo, and social gatherings.
Our family recently celebrated our first anniversary with Washington Pointe as caregiver for a dearly beloved family member. The adjustment was a challenge for our family member but the administration and staff were gracious and supportive. Dementia is not a welcome experience. Our family enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at Washington Pointe on Thursday evening! The food is always delicious, and the servers make my mother feel very special!
