I attended the pickleball drop-in sessions for the first time today and was really disappointed by how unwelcoming some of the players were. This isn’t the pickleball circuit and everyone starts somewhere. It created an uninviting atmosphere for newcomers and people who just want to have fun and stay active. I hope the staff will consider having a clearer code of conduct or doing more to encourage sportsmanship and inclusivity. This could be a great place to play if everyone felt respected and welcome!!
This place is beautiful for a nice walk! Love the scenery and the cute ducks! The geese are lame besides their little babies, but thats ok! Take a chill walk and give thanks for your health, broskis.
Shoutout to Christian who’s been my personal trainer at Wash Park Rec Center since March. He’s a fantastic trainer—he’s super attentive and has put together a variety of strength training workouts for me that I can do on the days that I’m not training with him.
