This is where my maternal grandmother was buried in December 1971. I was planning to have this establishment as my final resting place. Unfortunately, recent reviews has changed my mind. Especially, after reading Amanda C.'s review [submitted a month ago]😔

A very nice cemetery. If you love comedy then maybe, like I did on a road trip, you would like to pay your respects to comedian Bernie Mac.

I cannot begin to express how deeply disappointed and outraged I am by the treatment my family and I received at Washington Memory Gardens. Our family has been loyal to this cemetery for decades, with relatives buried there since the 1920s. However, after the handling of my father’s burial in March 2022, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Rude and condescending staff, both on the phone and in-person. Staff had no professionalism during our time of bereavement. I wasn't looking for sympathy or empathy, I was looking for good customer service, what you would expect from any business, but certain members of their staff failed miserably. If I as a customer present with kind energy, then why am I being met with impatience, horrible attitudes and hostile energy.
