If I could give a lower start rating I would. My grandfather passed away in 2023. At that time my family bought his plot and the plot of his wife who was still living so they could be buried next to each other once she passed. Fast forward my grandmother passed away in 2023. In 2024 we received a phone call saying my grandfather headstone had be stolen. Now we reached out about replacement of the stone through our headstone company. The cemetery even quoted a setting fee to the company for a partial size head stone. Now you ... read more

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Washington Memorial Garden Funeral Home during a very difficult time for my family and me. In December 2023, I buried my mother there, and the experience has left us profoundly distressed. Initially, we were informed by the representative that we could wait until family members had left the memorial site to ensure my mother was placed in her designated grave. However, on the day of the service, we were told we could not wait because the groundsmen w... read more

Washington Memory Garden's service has lost the meaning of service. For families whose loved ones have left a legacy for the future, this place or the people left in charge of service need to be fired, retrained in empathy as well as family service, time communication, just to name a few. In the past this place was amazing with care, concern, communication, and excellent customer service. You trusted them and knew that every protocol for your loved one would be handled properly and timely. I am sad to say I do not think that... read more

Please bury your loved ones somewhere else . Standard burial (watching your family go under ground to the final resting place ) is not included in standard packages . My grandmother was left outside in 90 degree weather for hours after the family said final goodbyes before they moved her to the grave . It’s crazy . After asking management what’s taking so long , they stated they had to bury the people who paid for visual burial first . No respect for the deceased to leave them outside for hours after the family leaves

This place is one of the most financially exploitative cemeteries I’ve ever experienced. They nickel and dime you for everything and impose arbitrary, secret deadlines and applications for installing a headstone for your loved one. This might not be as galling if it were simple to find your loved one in the first place, but the plots are so badly managed and the cemetery map so difficult to decipher you have little to no hope of finding your loved one without a 2 hour excursion to the office (and you better just pray that it... read more
