I recently had the experience of the preparation and burial of a member and friend at Washington Memorial Gardens. Hats off to Mr. Josiah Beecham. His help, professionalism and service was outstanding. He helped me research and locate the burial plots. He also researched the records and assisted me in finding the unmarked grave of a related family member of the deceased that was buried at the cemetery ( these records were over fifty years old). Attempting to put a crematory into an overwhelmingly residential area, potentially jeopardizing the health and safety of the living people in this community. This location is surrounded by thousands of homes. A crematorium is unwelcome in such close proximity to residential homes, and the owners have now forced nearby residents into activism against their will. Mrs. Walker has provided such a pleasant experience for my family. We are finishing initial arrangements for our loved one and she has displayed so much kindness and placed herself in our family with such an empathetic and compassionate heart. We are so grateful for her time and kindness. We appreciate the quality of care she provided in her services towards us. We know that Washington will truly take care of our loved one after speaking with such a beautiful spirit.

This is not the best time BUT Mrs. Walker is the greatest!!! She made a sad occasion bearable. Very professional and a great asset to her company. A sunny spot on a very sad day!!! Thank you Mrs. Walker, my family will never forget your kindness during our time of grief.

During this difficult time, Ms.Walker was a Breath of Fresh Air. She was very professional, informative and compassionate. She answered all of my questions and never made me feel as if I was a bother to her.
