I appreciate the materials WLIHA creates and distributes, it makes it really easy to understand and advocate on housing issues.
I went through their first Emerging Advocates Program in 2013 and gained so much knowledge about how to not only stand up for my self, but also how to stand up for the rights of all to have access to affordable and safe housing. I have since gone on to join the Resident Action Project, which mobilizes people who've experienced unstable housing or homelessness. Amazing organization!
A great group of advocacy, it's wonderful to be able to work with.
