We were seen quickly, the doctor was beyond efficient. Staff was professional and nice! The only thing I thought was weird is a white lady nurse asking me if I need an interpreter when I’m also a white American lady who clearly speaks English. I’m assuming she was new or joking since Ive never in my life been asked if I needed an interpreter. Anyhow other than that my experience was great!
I had an outstanding experience at Washington Health Emergency Room. From the moment I arrived, the staff was compassionate, professional, and attentive. Bad experience with this ER. I had dog bite wound on my thigh and couldn’t walk into the ER. I requested the wheelchair but had been waiting for 15 min and no one came with wheelchair. I had to walk into the building with pain. The nurse treated me was not caring and asked me to clear the wound myself. She ended up assisting me but the experience wasn’t comfortable.
I just left the ER after a very efficient 4 hour visit. As a previous heart attack survivor at the age of 40 years old, I went in due to immense swelling, water retention, and issues with my left leg / foot. The staff from greeters, nurses, techs, and doctor were all amazing to work with. GOD bless all of them.
I’ve visited the Washington Hospital Emergency Room 3–4 different times over the years, and every experience has been consistently positive. The medical teams have always taken my symptoms seriously and worked thoroughly to find the root cause instead of simply masking the pain.
