I was assaulted and the perpetrator was arrested. However I was told that they were not pursuing charges for SA because I waited too long to tell the DA about that part. It had only been about three months since the incident and arrest. There was no understanding that I was traumatized and having trouble discussing the occurrences. They also sent me to a “counselor” who did absolutely nothing for me. This office does not care about victims.
