Horrible...zero stars if I could. The County Attorney, court officers and judges collude with each other and make deals that benefit themselves. What "justice" you receive is based on who you are connected with. This means hefty legal expenses that often bankrupt victims/litigants. The toxic legal system, and mistreatment of victims, is a reason why victims of domestic violence often do not report abuse and do not press charges. The most unprofessional and lazy County Attorney's office I have ever had to interact with. They think of inmates as numbers and just another case. My partner was an inmate at the jail for a petty misdemeanor and was held a day longer than he was supposed to be because they forgot to schedule him a court date. Non-working phone number. How are personal or defense attorneys supposed to get ahold of the county attorney if they don’t have a functional phone number?
I have been calling to speak with the county attorney for 2 weeks leaving messages and no one returns my call, very unprofessional. I’m told someone will call me back and no returned call yet.
