Wasabi Sushi & Izakaya

4.4

About this business

This lively eatery popular with the hip Belltown crowd, serves up inventive Japanese fusion creations. Purists may be disappointed by Americanized concoctions such as the deep-fried Las Vegas roll (featuring eel, cucumber, cream cheese, and avocado), but sushi novices may find the offerings more approachable than traditional raw bar fare. Entrees include yakisoba, udon and a variety of seafood dishes. Happy hours are from 4p to 6p. The restaurant also hosts late-night happy hours.

Good eats and quick seats – I like this place. The happy hour is great, and you can try a bunch of little stuff with a friend or a few friends and its pretty cheap. The sushi is very good too and the atmosphere is nice but chill. I did have guy server there one time that must have sipping the sake a little to much in the back or something though. He could not for the life of him figure out how to separate the bill for my friends and I. Other than that it is a decent price with a good variety and its pretty quick.

Good sushi – This place has great sushi and good happy hour prices. Also, good service. But if you're looking for an entree other than sushi, I would not eat here.

great sushi, great customer service – I had a really great experience at The Wasabi Bistro this past weekend. I brought my family who I had not seen in quite a while. The staff was so friendly that they broke the ice. From the management to the servers , they were all perfect. They are all very professional but know what to say at the right time. Not to mention the service was great. The sushi wowed my family and I'll be back as soon as I can. I will always be thankful for that night.

Phenominal as always – It's like this, I go every where in this town to eat sushi and nothing compares to the Wasabi Bistro. I keep coming back because of the consistency of everything from the food to the service. I'm there about 5 or 6 times a month and the staff treats me better there than anywhere else I go by far. This place is so unbelieveably busy and they are always friendly and attentive. I've given other places in the Bell Town area more than enough chances and the service is always disappointing. There is one plac... read more

It takes more than soy sauce and wasabi.... whassup, wasabi bistro?? – Three of us went to WB for lunch today and were deeply saddened by the fact that the mighty has fallen. Here is a run-down of the experience: 1) Ordered two Wasabi Mary's (sake, vodka, Bloody Mary mix). Apparently, they was no bartender on shift, so the gal making the drinks sampled our would-be concoctions no less than three times, jerking her head back each time. To be sure the cocktail was undrinkable she enlisted the tasting prowess of another three s... read more

Still The Best – I so love this place and have for a couple of years now. The rolls and sushi are amazing and the service is always top notch. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive every time. They have never failed me. There are other places that have opened around town but Wasabi Bistro is still the best.

No Toro for you! – Wasabi Bistro (Seattle): Good Sushi. Great Sashimi. No Toro, but the albacore made up for it. Decent brew on tap. Friendly staff. Great happy hour prices (4?6 pm). Great portions. Kid friendly. Rice was well prepared. Fast service. Still does not even compare to Sushi Raw in San Diego.

Favorite Sushi in Seattle so far – I love Wasabi Bistro. It is in the heart of belltown. Unfortunately that means parking can be a hassle, but totally worth it in my opinion. I love their food, and the prices are not too bad. The service is good for the most part. Overall I have yet to find another sushi place I like more.

Great special occasion dining! – I took my husband here for his birthday. We were given an excellent table by the window. The service was fantastic, the food even better. The best part was when they gave us a green tea tiramisu free of charge with a candle in it and the words "Happy Birthday" written in sauce on the plate. The service was so excellent, my husband and I joked about the guys who brought us water. We would drink about 2 inches down of our water glass and then time it to see how long it took the water guys to fi... read more
