My experience with Dr. Scharfenberger is this. I needed to get follow up mammograms and I contacted his medical staff to get the referral. They told me it was not time for a test. I had to go through all my papers and find the statement for the exam and practically beg them to listen to me. I finally went to MLK in NYC and needed a biopsy for a suspicious nodule.
