Quickly seen to our little boy, turned up in a panic and no supplies but was given a nappies and a pyjamas. Can’t fault the staff in paediatrics team

I broke my hand I had a like half a pot, I think they’re called back slabs 3 weeks 4 days later went back took this slab off had it x rayed, waited to see a doctor he came into the room where I was waiting he spoke really really loud. He said it was healing and he was not going to put pot on he asked me to move my fingers I could not do it quickly he grabbed my hand saying make a fist and straighten my fingers. I am incredibly grateful for the life-saving care I received. On March 11, 2025, I arrived at SDEC with a high fever and severe abdominal pain, feeling terrified. The nurses were so compassionate, and when the surgeon came to see me, he explained that I was quite ill and needed an emergency appendectomy.
