I recently had four wisdom teeth removed at the Freshwater Day Surgery and couldn't be more happy with my experience. Prior to arrival, it was well organised and clear what was occurring on the day. A call from a nurse the day prior explained everything I needed to know and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had (including when I called back later with additional questions). Our experience at Freshwater Day Surgery was truly exceptional from start to finish. As this was my ten-year-old son Hugo’s very first surgery, we were naturally feeling anxious, but every single staff member we encountered was warm and kind, creating a calm and reassuring environment. The nurses were absolutely incredible — compassionate, attentive and patient. The nurses were super gentle, kind, and reassuring. I felt safe and supported from start to finish. The addition of smooth jazz classics in the patient ‘lounge’ was a bonus. Will happy come back for any future procedures.
28th August 2025 I will never go to another Day Surgery. The team and facilities at Freshwater day surgery are simply first class. Toni on reception was incredible - so prepared, efficient, warm and friendly (9:30am checkin). Then nurses Alex and Sarah for checkin were the same - so helpful and kind. Within 30mins I was having my colonoscopy with Dr Jeff Tu (incredible too) and was awake and having a chicken sandwich at 11am. Wow what amazing, staff, nurses, anaesthetist and doctor! I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people when getting my tooth removed. No need for nerves as they will have you laughing, give you a warm blanket and endless supply of icy poles. They were all so exceptionally kind and I felt very looked after. I just had a follow up call and now I just need something else to book back in with to come back and say hello! Not to mention I have very mild pain. Thank you so much for your time and care. Such an amazing team!
