Do not waste your time. I went in with concerns about birth control and weight gain from using it in the past. Mind you, I DID NOT ASK HIM HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT. He proceeded to tell me that hormones do not play a role in weight changes (FALSE) and that I gained weight because I "took too many trips to the fridge". Please select another doctor! Or even one of his associates! It is time for him to Retire!! Period! Quick finger check and antibiotics (at which is not the best KIND of prescribed antibiotic) has lost his touch for complete patient care... all of his associates have great reviews, maybe he should look in the mirror at himself as he talks down to his patients and makes them feel as if they are the problem. Time to add an additional obgyn to the mix to lighten the load or something!
Unprofessional in the highest. Does not thoroughly exam and listen to your issues. He thinks antibiotics and a quick poke with his fingers to your insides is good enough. His bedside manner sucks and he’s actually a little rude. Several years ago when I was 14 and never been seen, I was scared about seeing a Gynecologist for the first time. He proceeded to say “Well, what do you think I do all day? Clean teeth?” I left the office in tears. Take my advice. Go see someone else.
Staff is friendly enough. Banach is not thorough. He seems like he's in a hurry, spends minimal time in the exam room, doesn't listen to concerns or answer questions. I've been disappointed with his treatment the past few times I've visited but kept returning because it is close to home. However, after my last pathetic exam, I have made an appointment with a different OBGYN.
I visited Dr. Banach regarding tubal ligation. He was uninformed about whether my insurance covers this and did not care to check further into it. He talked at me instead of with me and I felt like he was very uninformed on current statistics regarding birth control effectiveness, specifically. His answer to me wanting permanent sterilization was "take birth control forever".
First visit yesterday and really liked him. Took time to ask questions and listen to me and my concerns. Staff was very friendly. Clean office. Short waiting time.

Dr. Banach is the best ! Dr. Banach has been my OBGYN Dr. for 11 years. He is the best in every aspect. His personality makes you feel so comforable. His knowledge and experience with women's issues are advanced. I can't say enough good things about him. I have been treated very well and have had some procedures performed by Dr. Banach. I trust him completely. I highly recommend him!
