Heaven sent I "happened upon" Dr. Lanier through an acquaintance of an acquaintance who new of his work in GA. I called Dr. Lanier from Atlanta about one of my labs and he was flying to GA that very same week. He comforted me and "Hope" and proceeded to do a successful ACL repair. A few years later "Honey" also needed an ACL repair. I called MI from New Orleans and learned miraculously once again that Dr. Lanier would be in Atlanta that very week and could see Honey who had stayed with Hope and my husband back in Atlanta unt... read more
Not all vets are created equal! I have taken my animal to a respected vet that was within 1 mile of my home since adopting her from Wayne County Animal Control. The other vet was very nice, and cordial; however... he dropped the ball two times with my dogs care. 1 time with an allergic reaction to a rabies vaccination, and the second; more serious.. did not further probe into her repeated pancreatitus/uti/bacterial infections.. I think the moral to my story is.. just because a vet is around the corner to your house doesn't m... read more
