Worth the dirt road drive for us, just to see the original pub on Cobb & Co Route & wander around. No one about and pub closed but it was to get a sense of the ol place and its history. You just have to get out the "Back O Bourke" to experience it a lil more. Was a pity to see the sign on the door "closed until further notice".
Very limited range, looks like it hasn't really been very well maintained for a very long time. They don't do food at all but it was worth the stop for a quick beer. Don't think they have much local patronage but it does have a lot of history and I'm glad we stopped here. Also has the big yabby across the road.
Great historic pub if you are interested in great historical pubs. Pub opens at 12pm but does not serve meals of any kind. No pies, Lattes here.
Pete is in a wheelchair and does a good job to give you a bloody cold beer ,chocolate bars and chips, thats good enough, carry enough food on board my rig, free camp and showers, becarful of the frog,🐸just enjoy and don't be critical,or just keep driving,,🍺
