Terrible place the pictures are deceiving the road is terrible, went in my Subaru rocks were scraping my skid plate would not recommend. Definitely need a high clearance vehicle. Water is freezing. Biggest fish you can catch is 4 inches.
Headwaters of Warm River. It's definitely worth the turnoff from Mesa Falls scenic byway.
Best snowmobile base camp for snowshoeing cross-country skiing snowmobiling sledding!! We love and have been coming here for over 40yrs, but with the humidity of the warm springs the cabin will need some cleaning and drying out. But we still loved it!
Pretty cool spot. The head of warm river can be found here coming straight out of the mountain and is very very cold. However, another river merges with warm river here that is much warmer. If you take a short trail along the other river, you will come to a natural beaver dam and shallow spots to warm and look at the Rocks in the riverbed. The cabin looks to be an old ranger station and some out buildings behind it used to be a fish hatchery that is boarded up. Pretty cool.
