My wife Em covered a lot of the bases in her own glowing review but I needed to also sing Gen’s praises! Our appointment was an absolute joy and pleasure! I went in feeling very nervous about my first time getting my makeup professionally done and left feeling so affirmed and stunning, and my wife looking like a 1950s starlet! What can I say? It was an amazing time! Can’t wait for our next session together (but truthfully if I could have Gen do my makeup every single day I would in a heartbeat)
My spouse and I wanted to get glammed up to take some photos for our five year wedding anniversary and went to Gen since she’ll also be doing our makeup for an upcoming wedding. She was a freaking delight, made us really comfortable, and gave us was exactly what we wanted. She made it a perfect first professional makeup experience for my transfem wife and made sure our looks complemented each other despite our very different complexions, styles, and preferences, which was incredible. Can’t wait to work with her again! 100/10
I truly cannot say enough good things about Gen. From the very beginning, she was so accommodating, even helping me schedule my bridal trial around our engagement photos so I could make the most of having my makeup done. I’ll be the first to admit that makeup is not my area of expertise, and I remember being a little unsure when Gen started bringing pinks into my makeup because it wasn’t something I was used to seeing on myself. I really enjoyed meeting and working with Gen. She was really Good at helping me build a makeup plan that fits my needs in schedule and budget. She was also just very lovely to chat with! Highly recommend for others.
I have a lovely experience with Gen. She was super warm, friendly and a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable about makeup techniques and able to provide a lot of information and answer any questions I had. The makeup trial was a blast and very informative. She sent me a detailed questionnaire asking about how the makeup held up and any changes I would like to make, and she was very flexible with those changes in my final day's look.
