What a hidden gem. The beach was clean, the water was clear, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The lake doesn't get deep quickly, which makes it a great spot for families with little kids and new swimmers.
Great beach had lots of fun til an old lady that lived next door came out and started being extremely rude and racist. She came out claiming to be the manager of the place, screaming at everyone including children but specifically at the other race. With that you could feel the racism

It's great, but they close a lot. One time we couldn't go swimming because it was windy. Haha
Staff were extremely rude to me and multiple other visitors throughout the day. Would never go back. My teen was paddle boarding and joined the family at the beach for lunch. Parked it next to the other kayaks on the corner of the beach. She pushed it out in the water claiming it was in the way and not allowed. She yelled at other kids playing several times. She followed cars around the parking lot yelling at them for various reasons. There are friendly ways to talk to people but they don't even try. Not a relaxing time.
