Ambulance dropped me off. They stuck me in an ER room right away. I was in severe pain. I couldn’t sit, walk, stand, I could only lay on my right side. After laying there for several hours they finally gave me some painkillers. Then took me to get a CT scan then an ultrasound. Only reason this ER is getting a 1 star is because of the doctor/advance practitioner they had on duty. While in Wink for my nephews graduation, my 5 year old began have respiratory distress. Being through this other times before and her inhaler not working, I knew I had to take her in to the ER. There was no wait and she was taken back right away, but imagine being a 5 year old, terrified you can’t breathe well and someone is trying to hold you here or grab you there. We came in with our 2 month old son. EXCELLENT staff. Greeted immediately, had no wait, immediately seen by a nurse and 2 PAs in training, and one PA, very thorough exam, answered all my questions. Very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Took my daughter in with very high fever, coughing, crying that her throat hurt. Doctor came in for 5 seconds said “it’s probably influenza” barely looked at her. There was no testing or actual exam done of her.
