Love it. We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment. We arrived late, the check-in was easy through locked box. We walked in from the cold evening to a toasty warm apartment. Stylishly furnished, the lounges are really comfortable. The ceilings are soooo high. It makes the rooms feel huge. Its quiet, great views across the river and paddocks. Convenient location. Highly recommend. Great price for a well-sized apartment. Only thing to note- lots of stairs. So if mobility is an issue I wouldn't recommend.
I really liked.
We stayed at Waratah on York in the King Suite with a bath and it was honestly perfect. The room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed. The highlight for us was definitely the bath and the little sitting area next to it. It felt private and peaceful, with gorgeous views of the city. Sitting there with a drink and just watching the city was such a relaxing way to unwind. The hotel has a lovely heritage feel, everything is clean, well-kept, and really comfortable. A fabulous place to stay. Beautiful old style rooms. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Nice fresh crisp clean sheets and towels. Staff bend over backwards for you. Holding our bags until checking time and after checking out. Tv was good. Heating and electric blankets. A bit of a steep walk back. But relatively close to most attractions.
This is a little bit of history, if only the walls could talk. A little hint, if your luggage is heavy park out the front and walk around sideway.
