Beautiful site during the end of closing season...very well kept and security was always around
My husband and I had an amazing Labor Day weekend at War Eagle! We brought our camper and were amazed by the wonderful locations to park it. The river was in our back yard! It was so peaceful to wake up in the morning and have coffee at the picnic table and look at the river. We enjoyed it so much that we kept extending our trip. We ended up staying 4 days longer because we didn't want to leave. Pam (the owner) and her staff were so nice and accommodating which made us feel like family. We will be back soon!!
Primitive camping is the way to go, War Eagle always gives a great deal for scouting units. Friendly staff and good facilities always make great memories at War Eagle.
Great experience! We rented the Rock House! Clean and roomy.
