We traveled from out of town and wasn't aware of public access locations. Staff came and saw we were set up for a day not an overnight stay and let us keep our spot and informed us where public access locations were.
Firstly the rooms block ALL cell service and even outside it might hit 1 bar on anything that isn’t T-mobile! If not, their free WiFi doesn’t reach inside our rooms either! You must walk towards the office to get a connection
Beautiful site during the end of closing season...very well kept and security was always around
My husband and I had an amazing Labor Day weekend at War Eagle! We brought our camper and were amazed by the wonderful locations to park it. The river was in our back yard! It was so peaceful to wake up in the morning and have coffee at the picnic table and look at the river. We enjoyed it so much that we kept extending our trip. We ended up staying 4 days longer because we didn't want to leave. Pam (the owner) and her staff were so nice and accommodating which made us feel like family. We will be back soon!!
