This place was beautiful The water was amazing and so refreshing in the NT heat. 5min walk from car park and amenities were clean.

Wangi waterfalls cascade over rugged escarpments into a large, clear plunge pool surrounded by lush monsoon rainforest. Get there early to beat the crowds. It’s very accessible with only a short flat 200m walk from the Car park.

Swim like the locals or take the loop walk! We visited Wangi Falls on a Friday at noon, and it was buzzing with locals enjoying a dip in the pool. The water is cold—perfect for beating the harsh September heat. We did the Wangi Falls loop walk, about 1.6 km. The distance isn’t long, but the ups and downs make it feel longer. Some sections are broad paths, while others are unpaved, but overall it’s manageable. The steps felt man-made, though my husband insists they’re natural. Wang Falls is heel populair en verwacht je daar dus maar aan een drukte. Er is een heel mooi meer voor de watervallen om in te zwemmen. Vanaf de lookout heb je een mooi zicht op de watervallen. Verder naar het viewing deck, maar vanaf daar is er niet veel te zien. We hebben dan de loop in tegenwijzerszin afgewerkt en dat is tamelijk pittig open en neer.
