Great place and nice folks! I was on my way back from Southern Kentucky to Michigan, and my brakes began giving me problems. I was able to quickly contact them, given clear directions in the Appalachia area, got in there and get things fixed. No fuss, no muss. Appreciate yall! Not sure what I would have done if I didn’t have a place like that to pull in, and take a maintenance time-out. Thank-you!
Johnny and WLW were super easy to work with and totally chill. Seriously, the easiest process to register and pay, great communication, and honest in setting realistic expectations for their spaces. I wish I was still traveling so I could stay at their other locations and really experience the community they are building.
I've spent 4 weeks here working on my bus at Baker Mountain and it allowed me to get a lot of work done. There's a lot to do around here, beautiful roads to longboard or electric skateboard on, cliffs for rock climbing just a half mile up the road and some state parks with the most gorgeous waterfalls close-by. There's a country market with a restaurant with amazing burgers about 2-3 miles away, you can bike up there if you want to. Johnny is a great host, really nice and accommodating. Johnny is the man, easy going, and respectful. I’ve been stationed at baker mountain for about a half a year finishing my build. Having the range of tools for any of my needs has been nothing but nice, there’s laundry, full bathroom, a nice hangout. It’s quite here nested on a mountain side, surrounded by a beautiful scenery, if you’re looking for the Tennessee countryside, it doesn’t get much better than this.
