I enthusiastically recommend Wandering Locus for building your yoga skills and connecting to community. I'm fairly new to Cambridge and since joining, I've met some wonderful people while stretching and releasing stress throughout my body. It is a wonderful edition to Cambridge Maryland. Always welcoming and I guarantee you will leave feeling better than when you came.
I had never taken a yoga class and wasn't totally sure what to expect but decided to give it a try. I have not been disappointed! From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed no matter your experience. Ongira is excellent at accommodating poses to meet you at your own pace. I've never felt out of place, I have noticed my range of motion within some of the poses is much better now...not good yet but better than when I started. You owe it to yourself to give one of Ongira's classes a try. Bring a friend too. It's fun ... read more

The yoga at Wandering Locust has been such an amazing addition to Cambridge!! The different levels of classes make it very inclusive and easy to join in with whatever experience you have. I always feel great afterwards and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Bring your friends and family and spread the word!
I am currently house/pet sitting on my first visit to Cambridge and before leaving on their vacation, the homeowner asked whether I practiced yoga and recommended Wandering Locust. Although I had done yoga before, it had been several years, so I felt a little hesitant. But the moment I stepped into Ongira’s studio, I knew it was a special place.
