We have great neighbors, but the quality of the work and the communication of Oakwood leaves much to be desired. We were promised regular construction updates. At first we got some, but then they abruptly stopped, and we were given no reason for the 6-month delay on our move-in date. One year after moving in, our roof had to be replaced. The stone-covered pillars on our front porch also had to be fixed, and our neighbor's stone completely fell off the side of their house. I second what Nicole said. Our AC is going out due to a notoriously cheap piping that doesn’t exist anymore. My concrete driveway was sinking and I pointed this out but they said it didn’t fit the code requirement and did nothing about it. The concrete is sinking more now. So between that and my AC unit going out I’m out $2-3000 due to their poor workmanship. Terrible builder, no accountability. I highly recommend choosing another builder

Update as of 5/2026: We completed our 30-day walkthrough with the warranty representative, only to receive another email 2 months later asking to schedule the same walkthrough again. This lack of communication and coordination has been frustrating. There are also ongoing quality and maintenance concerns throughout the property. Landscapers regularly leave large rocks scattered across the roads, creating a potential hazard for vehicle tires. Our experience with Oakwood homes was a great experience. Our original sales woman Hannah was amazing. She was very communicative, supportive and worked with us really well. The build team was fantastic! Brayden would meet with us and was very responsive when we would go through the home and had issues or concerns about our home being built. Brayden in particular was a fantastic person since he seemed to really focus on quality and getting things done right which put us at ease in buying the home.
