It was awesome. Sleeping in a teepee was super cool. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in my entire life. I've got to find out what mattress they use. Beautiful surroundings. The night sky was amazing.
Amazing project
Leider war der Aufenthalt insgesamt enttäuschend. Frühbucher werden hier eher bestraft, da sie teilweise das Doppelte pro Nacht zahlen. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über eine etwa 5 km lange Offroad-Straße, ohne dass dies bei der Buchung erwähnt wird. Bei nächtlichen Temperaturen um 0 °C war keine Heizung inklusive – eine mobile Heizung gibt es nur gegen Aufpreis. I wanna start off by saying that I am highly disappointed, as I planned my entire Grand Canyon trip around this camp site. I was looking forward to staying in the Grand Canyon, under the stars. All pictures are false advertisement. The "campground" looks nothing like what is on the website, as if the pictures were photoshopped. The check in/host trailer is a run-down camper with piles of trash out front. The cafe, they claim to serve/sell breakfast & dinner out of appeared the same way.
