I had shoulder replacement surgery. It needed to be revised a couple months later. My lymph nodes were apparently damaged during the revision. I now have to wear a full compression sleeve and glove. I will have to do this for the rest of my life. Imagine trips to the beach and your sons weddings with a compression sleeve and glove. It's embarrassing, very uncomfortable and my arm aches all the time. I regret having my surgery. The lymphoedema is worse than the pain before the surgery in many ways.
