We love the Story
I've been to a lot of heritage museums lately. This is one of the best right up there with Boomtown in Saskatchewan. Should be the #1 on a to-do list in Dawson Creek.
I love the fact I was able to see how people lived back in the day. Also, the types of things they used compared to now a days is a bigger accomplishment.
We were staying at the Mile 0 Campground and went to the Pioneer Village to explore. What a great place! There is so much history here. You can spend hours walking around and viewing all the buildings and equipment. Even if you aren't staying here, you should stop in and visit. The entrance is in through the office. They do ask for a donation, which is worth it.
