Dr. Sussman was such a welcome breath of fresh air and attentive care after dismissive doctors at the big hospital chains. He holistically reviewed all of my symptoms, identified the root causes, and formed a treatment plan with me. 10/10 recommend. Amazing care!!
I was treated for a torn rotator cuff secondary to development of calcium crystals in the muscle. Barbotage procedure removed the crystals but I started to develop a frozen shoulder. This was successfully treated with a cortisone injection and I now have full range of motion in the affected shoulder and no pain. Dr Sussman’s approach throughout was knowledgeable, focused and efficient and I would highly recommend him for his ability to offer a range of less typical treatment modalities.
I met Dr Sussman due to a referral from Mass General related to a large bone spur on my achilles tendon and arthritis in the area as well. He performed Tenex surgery (outpatient) and 4 weeks later I was walking without a boot! The other options from two other doctors would have laid me up for 9 months or so. Now I see Dr Sussman for my hip issues and knee issues. I completely trust him and so appreciate the less invasive approaches to surgery.
