Tremont spot with some interesting history. The old staircase from 1899 is still there, leads nowhere now but looks cool. Rolling hills, decent lawns for hanging out, two playgrounds with sprinklers, baseball field, handball courts. Got a small waterfall which is random but nice. Cleanliness is hit or miss—some reviews mention trash and syringes, others say it's fine. Gets a little sketchy at night, better during the day when families are around. New rec center supposed to be coming soon.
Click on each picture and find the syringes children and dogs continue to be unsafe and this park continues to be dangerous with all of these syringes and broken glass everywhere, it is embarrassing to get taxed so much by a city that does nothing to invest in the people they exploit. i definitely will be voting republican for now on this is disgraceful.
Poorly maintained, trash everywhere. No NYC park and recreation employees seen working there. Not safe ! Overall it’s nice located park with playgrounds. Looks like City only cares for parks in Manhattan!!!
