I have stewed about this for years. As I started to rip down my expensive cedar archway trellis lattice fence this weekend i decided to go write a review. The story: Was installed by Walpole. Inside 7-8 years it was rotted off at the base and parts of the trellis were rotted. When I called them (Morris Plains NJ store) back then they essentially said sorry sometimes that happens and there is nothing they can or will do. I am not meek and put up a fuss to no avail. WAY overpriced, and tough to get a return call when you have questions.

It has been a nightmare. We started using Walpole in late 2009, and the project wasn't complete until late 2010. This was after many unanswered phone calls and much aggravation. The sales person is pushy, and the store manager is non-existent, as he never seems to be in the office. Please choose another company this summer if your looking to do a fence project.

Purchased my fence this summer, and spent big money, thinking that Walpole had a great reputation. Well, The installers were ok, and worked hard, but when I had issues, the manager of the Morris Plains location was not very helpful (even when he finally returned my calls). My issues have still not been resolved If I had to do it again, I would not choose Walpole, even though the fence looks nice.
