My mother has lived there for several years now. The property itself is nice and I like it as a whole but as others have said, the manager is not very nice and combative at times. But the biggest problem for me is that this community is supposed to be income regulated but her lease has gone up every year while her income has not changed. Her new lease is going to go from $863 to $996!! The state of Oklahoma needs to investigate
I would give this place negative stars if i could. We looked at this apartment complex for my mother, just driving through looked like a hellhole. We tried to contact the office several times no one ever answers. After reading these reviews i would never ever place my elderly mother here. Save your money and the emotional wellbeing of your elderly person and keep looking. Walnut park manor sounds like an insane asylum.
property is well lit and quiet, each unit has a storm shelter. However I found life there very stressfull. The common room is equipped with cameras to monitor you, setting the atmosphere for the entire property. Since the present manager , it no longer felt like home but an institution where you were under surveillance to make you were doing as you were told. I moved in December the third 2024. Not knowing what I do now, it is April. The second of 2025, the biggest mistake I have made in my 74 years of life. Management is on powertrip. Makes living here a nightmare. A place like hell i am totally disabled and have been for 20 years. I ride a scooter for I have no balance.
