At minimum, be sure to set an appointment. I had a walkin that was very rushed and incomplete. I needed a prism, but wasn't checked for that because I wasn't having double vision. She also didn't do much in repetitions back and forth, to try to get the right strength of lense. An optometrist caught the lense issue years ago, though. I tried to schedule around the three month point and because it was just after that by the time I could make my schedule work, they said I'd have to repay. I went somewhere else.
Very disappointed. I didn’t like the contacts that I had a trial for after my last exam. I called to ask to try a different kind of contacts, and the doctor said I’ll have to get another exam before I can try a new brand…when my last exam was only 2 months ago! I’ll be finding a new doctor.
Left me blind hours from home! I had been a customer for several years with no problems. I was on a work trip 3 hours from home when I took my contacts out and threw them in the trash, the next morning I realized I had forgotten to pack new contacts. I visited a local Walmart who said my prescription was recently expired, but if I called my doctor they would be able to extend it one week just so I could safely drive home.
