I tried to call because my eye was really irritated and I wanted to schedule to be seen as I think I might have a stye which needs treated. I called first thing Sunday morning and Marty answered. I tried to explain and she cuts me off and says "We don't have a doctor in on Sunday" which is okay, I get it and I did not know that. But to just be cut off and not even offered to schedule an appointment for a later date is poor customer service. There’s something wrong with the Walmart Optical’s eyeglasses they sell. I’ve bought maybe a dozen pair of walmart eyeglasses over 8 years or so. They’re convenient, easy, and ‘there’ when I’m stopping by. After about 6 months, Walmart glasses would consistently and invariably scratch and cloud-up, getting to the point where I had to buy another pair after 9-12 months because they were so cloudy. We made an appointment for my Grandpa at 2:30 and when he got there they said he had one at 10:30 am and they sent us home even though our card we got from them said 2:30 and we told them and my aunt went to tell them they were wrong and they said sorry but that was still no excuse

I went to this doc in 2018. I tried to tell her what was wrong with my vision and she wouldn’t let me do so as she frustratingly talked over me and hushed me constantly, so and I ended up not getting a strong enough prescription. She said my eyes were 20/30… My eyes had been 20/60 before…. Went to the doc at the Middletown Walmart the other day and she was WONDERFUL! She actually listened to me and even took photos of my eyes when I mentioned my families history with glaucoma. She said she wants me in every year to do a test... read more
