Dr. Orr is incredibly friendly and personable. She was SO intelligent and taught me so much about my eyes in particular. I will never go to someone else after my first visit with her. The staff is very nice as well. Chuck helped us out a lot and the woman who fitted me for the glasses, Satie, was SO genuine and kind.
Chuck and Alan are great but support staff seems like they're right out of a mental institution. I got coated with dust thanks to new girl with huge hair very unprofessionally Infront of her face unable to see yet dusting throughout the store, shaking out rags and dusters right by customers. No common sense at all to realize how that was affecting others. And the management staff didn't even try to redirect her. This was at 3 pm so not exactly closing time. Things change visit to visit. on the phone was told contact exam/fitting would be between $40-80, when in the store I was charged $110, after I had a eye exam the week prior and happily paid $100+. Was told the contact would only take a week to come in, 2 weeks later I call for an update, now the answer is “those contact take anywhere between 2-3 weeks” I just wish things were consistent from visit to visit.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn, a technician, at Walmart Vision Center today. Dawn was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the technical elements of my new prescription and the insurance coverage. The selection of frames was wonderful. I ended up ordering two new pairs of eyeglasses. Thank you Dawn and Walmart.
