I have gotten my glasses from Walmart for quite a few years so I felt confident on buying 2 pair of glasses - the quality has definitely gone downhill- I paid for the scratch guard & was surprised when I took one pair in because of surface scratches & was told that the warranty only covers deep scratches not surface scratches...what good is a scratch guard that doesn't protect from everyday wear? I am new to the area and stopped in to look at frames and have my lenses made. The two very kind ladies that are in the optometry department at the Escanaba store are both delightful , helpful and very professional. I appreciated their insight to what looks good and they handled the entire process even contacting my optometrist to get my prescription for me and answered every question I had about how to choose a lens. Worst optical customer service I ever experienced. Doctors never in to finalize my prescription. I will never use a Walmart optical ever again
My family and I have been going to Escanaba Walmart optical for years and we always have a great experience. The staff is pleasant and quick. They accommodate my three kids wonderfully. In a recent visit to get new glasses for my 8yo son, he was upset because he wanted the same frames but they were discontinued. The staff went above and beyond to search through the display ones they recently took down and hadn’t sent back to the company yet. Successfully found the very last pair and I had a very happy son!
