I had a very disappointing experience at the Walmart Vision Centre on Clarence Avenue, particularly with Dr. Khaled Mokhtar. I had brought my friend in for an eye exam, but the prescription he provided was inaccurate. When my friend got new glasses based on that prescription, he still couldn’t see distant objects clearly. The optimistic doctor did my eye exam too quickly. He checked everything overall, but my far vision does not seem to have been properly examined. So I spoke to the receptionist, and she said that if I have any problems after getting new eyeglasses, I can come back and reexamine my eye. However, it is time-consuming, and I do not know whether it will be covered by insurance. Why does the eye exam need to be so rushed? They charge $95 for only 20 minutes!
For more years than I can count I have been buying my glasses at the Vision Centre at Stonebridge Walmart- I have found the ladies here to be most exceptional; their knowledge and customer service cannot be beat. I will not buy my glasses anywhere else in Saskatoon!! Impressive is the word! If you are looking for the best optical shop in Saskatoon, I found it! The services at the stonebridge Walmart optical shop were fast, friendly and professional. With diligent and care, the team of seasoned optical experts ensured me the best fitted glasses. Their phenomenal pricing and selections and quick turn around time is unreal. Attended Stonebridge location with my Mom who is a senior, both Sharon and Sherri were absolutely wonderful. Kind and considerate in every way dealing with my Mom who has mobility issues and on a fixed income. I would highly recommend!
