The male employee who answered the phone was unprofessional, condescending, and even provided misinformation. I have a speech impairment, and he went so far as to mock it in a rude, snotty way. Rather than being helpful and informative, he seemed more interested in proving me wrong. His attitude made the experience both frustrating and unpleasant. Because of this, I’ll be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy.
I don’t know if the pharmacist or policy at this location changed but if you are buying insulin syringes you may suddenly need proof of prescription now. I understand the implication of buying syringes (I also understand the concept of harm reduction but that’d be going on a tangent) but it feels very dismissive and almost like you have to defend yourself if you are a younger person (in rather scruffy work clothes, I do admit) just trying to restock on supplies for a diabetic dog.
